3 years ago I was diagnosed with childhood epilepsy and was told by my doctor that I would have to take medication for the rest of my life. Well, I took the medication for a while and I felt sick every time I took it, I could hardly concentrate in school. I couldn't imagine feeling like this forever.
A few weeks went by and my mother took me to Jake's house after school; she explained to me what hands on healing was and that when we were to leave his house I was going to be healed by the grace of God. Okay. I was only 7 years old at the time and didn't quite understand, but I did what my mom told me to do. I didn't feel much different when I left there, but I believed that I would be healed. Sure enough I was healed I have not taken any medication for the last 3 years nor have I had a seizure!!
I wanted to do something to spread the good news of God. My mother and I came up with Faith Rocks. There are several different meanings (not only is it a rock because God is solid as a rock, the name Faith Rocks means that having faith in God is cool) In this day and age the word "Rocks" means to be cool. So it is cool to believe in God.
My way of spreading the word is by making these pretty hand painted rocks of Jesus. Not only have I made a difference in the lives of kids my own age, but adults as well.
